Florez

"You so worried about the government's cattle you are willing to die for them gringo? Draw your weapon!" -Florez before his death.

Florez was a gang leader in Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood.

Early Life[]

On July 12, 1866, Florez and his gang had stolen 40 head of cattle from the government stables in San Lorenzo and planned on driving them across the border. The treasury offered $1 dollar for each head recovered and $200 dollars for elimination of the gang.

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood[]

Ray/Thomas McCall answered the wanted ad and tracked down Florez and his gang. The gunslinger fought his way through the rocks taking out Florez's associates, and reaching a dead end was shot at by Florez himself, who wielded a Heavy Rifle. After a brief firefight Florez came down from his perch for a showdown with his nemesis in which he met his demise.

Appearance[]

Florez was a slender man in his thirties. He had black hair that was slicked back, and some facial hair. Florez wore a red shirt, blue scarf, a brown jacket, grey trousers, and brown boots with spurs on the heels.

Personality[]

Florez displayed fearlessness and impatience shown by his confrontation with the gunslinger come to claim the bounty on his head, along with great arrogance.

Trivia[]

  • Jim Peters, Florez and Ty Stewart share a similar line before their respective duels "Draw your weapon".
  • There is a glitch that occurs after Florez confronts Thomas/Ray. After wounding him, he will sometimes repeat his line continously until either the duel starts, or he is killed in the duel. There is no known fix and it is unknown what causes this.
