The FN FAL battle rifle, referred to as the FAL, is a weapon featured in Call of Juarez: The Cartel.
Mechanics[]
The FN FAL operates on a gas-operated action. The gas system is driven by a short-stroke, spring-loaded piston located above the barrel. The FN FAL can carry between 5 and 30 round magazines (normally 20 rounds). The FN FAL is used by many NATO countries worldwide, earning the name "The Right Arm of the Free World".
Call of Juarez: The Cartel[]
The FAL fires only in semi-automatic. The FAL is one of the most common assault rifles early in the game (along with the AK), and remains used by many enemies throughout the game. It is unlocked by achieving Level 5 in the Secret Agenda.
